The Pick and Drop can be changed according to your requirement. in this Itinerary, the tour Starts from the nearest railway Station Kathgodam and also drop at the same point.
Itinerary
Morning – The first morning session we will be doing a bird hide session. this will provide us with many species and also there clear and good photographs. Hides or feeders are always good for Woodpecker and Thrushes.
Possible Species – Lesser Yellownape Woodpecker, Greater Yellownape Woodpecker, Kalij Pheasant, Red Junglefowl, Black Throated Thrush, Rufous Chinned LaughingThrush, Red Billed Leiothrix.

Evening – Chanfi region (Sattal Vicinity). Chanfi area has flowing streams and rivers, making it a very different habitat in comparison of Sattal and only place in the itinerary with a flowing water habitat. Thus many unique birds appear there. Possible Species – Asian Barred Owlet, Brown Fish Owl, and Tawny Fish Owl also, Crested Kingfisher, Slaty-backed Forktail, Little Forktail, Spotted Forktail )
Ranibag is a part of the lower Himalayan foothill forest belt , extending from Haldwani to Kathgodam region. The area holds a mix of riverine, sal , and scrub forests , anad you may find some species not commonly seen in Jeolikote or Sattal .
Morning –Forest and riverine birding in Ranibag .
Possible Species – Crested Kingfisher , Brown-capped Pygmy Woodpecker , White-throated Fantail , Speckled Piculet , Red-vented Bulbul , Spotted Dove , Grey-headed Canary Flycatcher , Grey Bushchat , and many more .
Evening – Ranibag adjoining woodland and forest edge
Possible Species – Brown Rock Chat , Himalayan Bulbul , Rufous Treepie , Black-hooded Oriole , Common Woodshrike , Common Green Magpie, and other woodland birds


Nainital Outskirt is a gem for finches and higher altitude small bird species.
Morning – Nainital Outskirt visit.
Possible Species – Vinaceous Rosefinch, Scaly Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Long-Billed Thrush, Chestnut Thrush, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Black Eagle, Rufous Bellied Woodpecker, Himalayan Woodpecker, Scaly bellied Woodpecker.
Evening – Ramgarh Visit.
Possible species – Black-faced Warbler, Whiskered Yuhina, Collared Owlet, Pink-browed Rosefinch, Streaked throated Scimitar Babbler, White-browed Scimitar Babbler, White-tailed Nuthatch.
Morning – Shyamkhet region. ShyamKhet is below the dense habitat of Ramgarh region, and is a home to finches, sunbirds and thrushes in the winters. as these birds migrates down when there is snowfall in the higher altitude and Shyamkhet is the perfect place to find them.
Possible species – European Goldfinch, Gray-winged Bluebird, Yellow-Breasted Greenfinch, Maroon Oriole, Green-tailed Sunbird, Scaly Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Long-Billed Thrush, Chestnut Thrush, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Black Eagle, Rufous Bellied Woodpecker, Himalayan Woodpecker, Scaly bellied Woodpecker.)
Evening – Chanfi.
Possible species – Scaly-breasted Wren Babbler, Aberrant Bush Warbler, Western Crowned Warbler, Himalayan and Siberian Ruby-throat, Yellow Belly Fantail, Bar-tailed Treecreeper, Brown Dipper, Crested Kingfisher, Little Forktail, Thrushes and Warbler.
Morning and Evening
Pangot falls inside Naina Devi Wildlife Sanctuary and itself a destination for bird watchers, we will be spending one morning session here.
Possible species – Koklass Pheasant, Himalayan Woodpecker, Eurasian Jay, Spot winged Grosbeak, Himalayan Griffon, Alpine Accentor and some more Himalayan Birds.
